The Power of Pure Pollen...As Nature Intended

I am leery of all these 'synthetic' concoctions which do more harm
than good in the long run. Yet not all energy-boosting products are
the same. My husband and I discovered an all-natural product which really works in giving you a dramatic increase in energy which lasts for hours, does not bring that consequent late morning "let down" that a high-in-caffeine drink brings, and above all, is healthy and beneficial for the body.

If you try anything, try taking this product:

Pollen Burst by ProJoba, one of the product lines from the health company "Youngevity", is an Energy Drink like no other. It gives you ALL day energy, relieves mental and physical stress, relieves pain and soreness, gives you mental alertness, decreases cravings, promotes weight loss, relieves allergies, works great as a flu remedy, and the list goes on.

Do NOT confuse this with other energy drinks on the market! This does not have a lot of caffeine and it does not have a lot of sugar. It only has the caffeine equivalent of 1 cup of green tea (which is a more gentle caffeine to begin with) and it only has the sugar equivalent of ½ cup of orange juice. It is free of artificial colors and preservatives – it’s 100% natural! Don't let the product's name mislead you--Pollen Burst is not made with bee pollen, which is contaminated with molds, spores, and bacteria. Rather, it is made from harvested organic flower pollen extracts. The allergic husk of the pollen is removed and only the hypoallergenic, unadulterated Neo-Nutrient core is used which contains over 180 micronutrients – it’s a whole food matrix. These micronutrients are quickly absorbed and help your body work at its optimum level, therefore it sustains your energy level throughout the day.

Pollen Burst also contains Green Tea Extracts, B Vitamins, and SOD (Superoxide Dismutase). SOD is an antioxidant made by your body, it’s your body’s first line of defense and the most powerful, effective antioxidant in the world today. This is the first SOD in drink form. Read more about the science behind Pollen Burst at www.burstscience.com, and find out how these claims that Pollen Burst makes are backed up with scientific data and double blind studies.

At a cost considerably less than a cup of Starbucks, my husband has traded in his morning cup of coffee (which he was addicted to) for a Pollen Burst. In addition to the extra energy and alertness it gives, it also has aided him in his weight loss due to it's appetite-curbing and metabolism-boosting properties, enabling him to steadily lose 20 pounds in just 8 weeks! Since our seven year old puts half a pouch in his water bottle he takes to school with him we have noticed that he is able to focus better on his school work. I also take it (of course) and love everything about it. I love the way it tastes, the way it makes me feel, the extra energy I have throughout my day, and definitely how it aided me in getting over the flu this winter (who has time to be sick?).

It's Contagious!

As a mom I am always struggling to get my kids to eat healthy. Recently my life has become much easier (at least in that respect). My husband has decided to conquer his sweet tooth and conscientiously eat healthier. The side effects have been wonderful for the whole family. Now that my husband is wholeheartedly on board on this "mission", I've been having so much fun playing around with recipes - substituting/adding things, and hiding things, that our kids aren't crazy about, in the meals. I have to admit that it's just too fun to puree some chick peas in the homemade tomato soup and no one be any wiser.

At dinner yesterday Lena, my 3 year old, discussed with her sister Thea (5) how she didn't like her broccoli. Her sister Thea eagerly said: "I'll take it!" "You like broccoli?!" I was just as shocked to hear that my five year old all of the sudden liked broccoli, but I almost couldn't believe my eyes when my three year old then started to eat hers. What was going on? This was too good to be true! Guess there is strength in numbers. "If big sis can eat it, then so can I."

You could almost conclude that eating habits, good or bad, are indeed contagious. My husband's positive attitude about the new menu was rubbing off on the kids and they were encouraging each other to give everything a try. Even at the grocery store my son (almost 7) was picking out food that daddy might like because it's healthy. My kids are munching on veggies and hummus, and I haven't heard a request for a "treat" in a long time.

How is my husband conquering his sweet tooth? I'll get into that next time.
